Silver Sounds is based at Newport in South Wales
and we provides a high quality mobile video disco & karaoke
for Gwent and the South of Wales at very competitive rates.
We have over 10 years of DJ/VJ experience in the entertainment industry
and offers a wide variety of music from the 50's thru today's hottest hits.
Our sound system, Video system and amazing light shows
are the perfect compliment to your special evening.
We will also be happy to customize the music for your event
as well as take requests from guests

A MULTI-MEDIA EVENT FOR YOUR SPECIAL OCCASION

Music video performances come alive while you dance and party
Music Videos include Hundreds of today’s hot hits.
Also including classic hits from the 70’s 80’s & 90’s
The videos we use are high DVD quality.
If you like 60’s music we can do that
We will have visual affects on the screen when we play songs
which have no video with them
We use a Large screen & a 32” LCD which is large and bright enough to be seen throughout the entire dance floor and surrounding party area.

Photo Slide Show

At no extra cost you can have your wedding photo’s
on the big screen for you & your guest to see
or if it’s a birthday party have photo’s of the birthday boy/girl on the big screen

Text Messages

You and your guests can send text messages to us on the night
And then we put them on the big screen for you and your guest to view

example:

  • Congratulation on your wedding luv sara x x x
  • happy birthday john from Natalie :-)
  • john stop your talking and get me a drink lol .... etc etc etc

    At the moment text messages are new so we are not charging any extra


Do we do karaoke? Oh, yea... do we ever do karaoke!!!

Silver Sounds got it's start through requests for us to host karaoke at a number of venues throughout South Wales!

As a karaoke junkie of sorts VJ Martin has been to hundreds of karaoke shows hosted by dozens of hosts. He's well versed in all the subtle things that really drive away the customers and singers and how to avoid them. Proper rotation, easy to read and up to date song books, quality karaoke songs, and how to make every singer sound as good as possible are paramount to a successful karaoke event. Couple this with a unique ability to sing from almost every genre of music to help get things started and it's a party waiting to happen!
We have a LARGE selection of songs and! We have songs from all sorts of artists.
We sometimes joke that if you can't find a song to sing in our collection you're not looking hard enough!

Silver Sounds makes every effort to insure everyone has a GREAT time at our karaoke events. Even those that don't sing!
